I started out as a trainee estate agent in 1997 whilst studying for my GCSE’s and have continued on and off throughout the last 25 years. I still remember as a teenager taking photographs stuck to the templates with a brief handwritten description to the Bolton Evening News every two weeks for our newspaper adverts and remember when Rightmove was first launched, how times have changed. I have sold beach side properties whilst living in Muscat (Oman) and then started to work for Dewhurst Homes on my return where I am the Branch Manager and Valuer at our Garstang office. I love the versatility of the properties we are fortunate to visit and enjoy spending time getting to know all of our clients so that their experience of buying or selling a property is as smooth as possible. Outside of work I am the Solo Tenor Horn with the Longridge Brass Band, I regularly perform solos to large audiences and compete all over the country with our band. Recently we have been promoted to the Championship section and have some excellent competitions and contests to work towards. I started to play when I was five years old and have performed solos all over the world. It’s a great hobby which has led me to some wonderful experiences and friendships. I’m also an avid reader, a great cook (even though I don’t do enough of it) and like spending time with friends and family.
